I Pledge Allegiance
I’ve been reading this book about the Vietnam War. There are a total of four stories and each one of them is told from a different person (four friends in total) and a different branch in the military. The first one tells the story about one of the friends who was drafted to the war when this happens all of them decide to join the military. Morris (main character) joins the US Navy and is stationed on the USS Boston while in the Navy he decides to make his personal goal to watch out for his friends and make sure that they are ok. But as the story goes on protecting his friends is not only problem he needs to face and besides looking out for them he soon finds out that protecting himself might be the biggest challenge he’ll face. I found this interesting because not only because I find War a topic that’s cool to talk about but because I have family in the military and just hearing these stories is really awesome but is also kinda scary because the thought of having to risk your life isn
